Ray Griffiths

Ray Griffiths is renowned for his exquisite hand-pierced 18 karat gold set with brilliantly cut precious and semi-precious stones. The Australian-born designer began his career at the age of fifteen, as an apprentice to a tiara and crown maker. Griffiths went on to use these technical skills to create his signature crownwork jewelry, with its intricate chain links and basket settings.  Griffiths is also a certified gemologist. Griffiths works meticulously to execute each design by hand at his bench. He now lives and works in New York City.
