Lene Vibe Dahlgren lives in her native Denmark, where she runs her atelier in the heart of Copenhagen. Dahlgren studied metalsmithing at the world renowned Georg Jensen silver workshop, and is now one Denmark’s most acclaimed jewelry designers. Of her beautiful, whimsical designs, Dahlgren says: “My jewels are raw, feminine and luxurious. We spare no expense and work exclusively in 18k gold with baroque and Tahitian pearls, brilliant stones and diamonds. Often the jewels contain a historical or humorous twist- a little snail sticking out it’s antennae, or a 200 year old diamond, reused in marvelous combination with other exquisite materials.” Dahlgren does the unexpected in her designs- taking pearls out of their usual polished and conservative context , she leaves them in their natural form, nestling them in tiny gold flowers with sparkling diamond centers and hanging them from delicately braided leather.

The result is a fairytale-like elegance, evident throughout Vibe’s collection of earrings, necklaces and bracelets.
