April Gornik 

Born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1953, April Gornik received a BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Her work is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art; the Whitney Museum of American Art; the Museum of Modern Art; the National Museum of American Art in Washington, DC; the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, DC; the Cincinatti Museum; and other major public and private collections. She has shown extensively, in one-person and group shows, in the United States and abroad.
